How does OVUNET Work?

Using the OVUNET App for affordable, supported Ovulation Induction is easy.

How OVUNET works

It's easy to get started

First, click here to create your OVUNET account and we will guide you through the registration process. This will give you access your personal, secure, OVUNET WebApp. We then ask you to provide us with some key medical information.

We assess your medical information, to confirm that Ovulation Induction is right for you. We then ask you to pay a one off, annual, health investigations fee. You will receive request forms for Blood tests and an Internal (trans vaginal) Ultrasound, to be performed anywhere in Australia.

When we have the results from your tests, you will receive a Fertility Specialist’s assessment and advice regarding your personalised ovulation induction plan

We ask you to pay your treatment cycle fee, then, in your first cycle, or annually, we request that you book in a bulk billed Telehealth consultation with an OVUNET Fertility specialist. This will give you the chance to ask any questions, and for our specialists to confirm that OVUNET is the right treatment for you.

NOTE: If you wish to have your required Fertility Specialist telehealth consultation bulk billed, you must have a referral from your GP.

Your telehealth consultation can be arranged through HotDoc. You will be able to upload your referral via HotDoc. Book Appointment

We then provide you with prescriptions for all the required medications you will need for your OVUNET treatment plan.

The OVUNET WebApp will send you reminders for each treatment step, monitor your response by assessing your ultrasound report, and provide ongoing treatment advice to you from our OVUNET Specialists and nurses during your treatment cycle.

Once registered, you can email a Fertility Nurse at any time with questions. We Provide assessment advice to you in early pregnancy. You have the option, at additional cost, of further face-to-face, or Telemedicine consultation with a Fertility Specialist at any time during your treatment.

Please note that OVUNET is not designed to be an emergency service, so if you are feeling worried, or unwell, you should contact your GP, attend an Emergency department, or call 000.

After your OVUNET treatment cycle, we will review your response to the treatment provided, and make adjustments to the plan for the next treatment cycle, if needed. If you are under the care of a Gynaecologist, or fertility Specialist, they have the option of providing OVUNET treatment vouchers for you. When they do this, all of your treatment outcome information is provided to them, and as needed, you can return to them for further follow up.
